Shavendra Silva Dismantles the Channel 4 Lie - VIDEO

VIDEO: ‘Actress’ in the Channel4 film was active since 2008 The main ‘actress’ in the Channel4 film was involved in the final war effort since January 2008 despite what the film states while she was also known by multiple names, Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, Maj. Gen. Shavendra Silva stated at a conference in New York.

The Channel4 film states that the woman named Vany Kumar served in the final effort for six months and was witness to the shelling of hospitals which Maj. Gen. Silva stated was in fact not true and that she was more actively involved since 2008.

Addressing a gathering of representatives from Humanitarian Organizations he also stated that the footage of the aerial bombings clearly show the bombing of jungle areas although the film maker shows different images of the aftermath.

He also added that the footage taken of civilians in trenches was clear signs of production and could not be authentic.

Gazprom was very positive. They will be here soon for discussions, said Secretary to the President Lalith Weeratunga.

Osama bin Laden is dead, Obama says - CNN ( VIDEO )

Osama bin Laden, the longtime leader of al Qaeda, was killed by U.S. forces in a mansion outside of Islamabad, Pakistan.




(CNN) -- The mastermind of the worst terrorist attack on American soil is dead, U.S. President Barack Obama announced late Sunday night, almost 10 years after the attacks that killed almost 3,000 people.

Osama bin Laden -- the longtime leader of al Qaeda -- was killed by U.S. forces in a mansion outside the Pakistani capital of Islamabad along with other family members, a senior U.S. official told CNN.

World’s lowest gravity found in Sri Lanka

The Southern sea of Sri Lanka has been identified as the region with the lowest gravitational pull in the world, geologists said. According to researching scientists a particular reason behind this low gravity had not yet been discovered. Professor of Geology Wilbert Kehelpannala of Peradeniya University told Daily Mirror that scientists were still researching on factors which cause low
gravitational regions in the world but no explanation had been discovered so far.

Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA), which runs the island's ports, increased revenue and operating profit in 2010 on the back of the global economic recovery which generated double-digit growth in cargo flows.
The SLPA's operating profit increased by 126 percent to 4.4 billion rupees in 2010 from the previous year while revenue rose by 21.2 percent to 28.3 billion rupees, according to the central bank.
