The Government has learnt of a plan by pro-LTTE groups and nations to again bring the war crimes spot light on Sri Lanka at the United Nations Human Rights Council, Prime Minister D.M. Jayarathne today revealed in Parliament.He said this proposing the motion to extend emergency by one month a short while ago. According to Jayarathne such a motion is to be brought up at the next UNHRC session in Geneva. He added that this was uncovered through Sri Lanka’s diplomatic networks. Source by: ada dearana
