Islamabad: Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari will visit Sri Lanka from November 27 to 30 to hold talks on bilateral, regional and global issues with the country's leadership.
Zardari's visit at the invitation of his Sri Lankan counterpart Mahinda Rajapakse is part of a long tradition of high-level contacts and exchanges between the two countries, said a statement issued by the Foreign Office.
He will also interact with members of the Sri Lanka-Pakistan Parliamentary Friendship Association and address the Business Forum comprising businessmen and corporate leaders.
Pakistan and Sri Lanka enjoy commonality of views on regional and international issues and "regularly coordinate their positions at the UN and SAARC," it added.
