There are no immediate plans to ban individuals from owning more than five mobile-phone SIM cards, the Telecommunication Regulatory Communication (TRC) said today. “A final decision on the matter will take a few more days,” TRC Chief Anusha Palpita told Daily Mirror.It was reported earlier that according to a Defense Ministry order all SIM cards which were not registered by December 31st 2010 would be terminated.
