Interim working committee for UNP

The UNP has decided to appoint an interim working committee effective from January 1, until office bearers are appointed under the new constitution enacted at the recent convention.


The members of the present Working Committee would be appointed to the interim committee, the party said in a statement.

The decision was taken by party leader Ranil Wickremesinghe after discussions with his deputy Karu Jayasuriya, Treasurer Senarat Kapukotuwa and Chairman Gamini Jayawickrama Perera, party General Secretary Tissa Attanayake said. Source By: daily mirror
