A/L results before school vacation

The results of the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level examination will be released before the upcoming school vacation, which is scheduled to begin on 09 December, Commissioner General for Examinations Anura Edirisinghe said.

The Commissioner General stated that he is confidant that the Examinations Department will be able to reveal the results of the A/L examination, which was held from 09 August to 03 September this year, before the school vacation period.
268, 933 private candidates had applied for the examinations this year. While the marking of question papers was conducted under three stages, the second stage was carried out till 24 September. Source by: ada derana
