Leave of all Nursing Staff Cancelled Health Minister requests all to report for work

Wednesday, 10 November 2010 The Health Minister yesterday appealed to all nurses to report for duty. This decision has been taken to provide health care facilities to the patients without any disruption.

Director General of Health Services Dr. Ajith Mendis in a special circular yesterday directed all heads of hospitals and health Institutes Island wide not to grant leave to nursing staff unless it is due to an unavoidable circumstance.
