Grass root level campaign at LG

The UNP will limit its rallies at this year’s Local Government election and concentrate more on a grass root level campaign, UNP General Secretary Tissa Attanayake said.


He added that the party would educate the people on the large scale corruption in the state sector during these campaigns.

The party will also increase its women representation in the local bodies and would give more nominations to them at this election, Attanayake added. (YP) Source by: daily mirror
