Renowned journalist Lasantha Wickramatunga was commemorated by his family, relatives and colleagues at the monument dedicated to him at the Borella Cemetery. Today (January 08) is the 2nd death anniversary of the former Editor in Chief of The Sunday Leader newspaper who was shot by unidentified gunmen on motorcycles as he drove to the office of the newspaper in Colombo.
